In November 2006 GyM STRACON J.V. was engaged by Compañía Minera Corianta S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Peruvian miner Mauricio Hothschild & Cia Ltda, to provide construction services for the development of an open cut high grade zinc oxide mine situated in Amazonas, Peru .

Works successfully undertaken by GyM STRACON included the mine access road, mine haul roads, development of dumps and construction of fixed infrastructure including workshops, offices, camps, and warehouses.
