STRACON was awarded a contract built a 10,000 m3 capacity snow making reservoir at Ohau Ski Field, located in the Mackenzie Country, 42 km north-west of Omarama.

The scope of the contract included the earthworks associated with the construction of the dam, pipe installation for the pumping, control and drainage systems, in addition to the laying of geo-textile and geo-membrane over the internal surface of the reservoir. The works were completed between February and April 2008.
